Amylase Enzyme


One of the naturally occurring enzymes active in the mash.  Will help convert complex starches to simple sugars.  Optimal pH range is 5.0, Optimal Temperature range is 122º - 125º F.  This enzyme is inactivated at 176ºF.

Usage is typically 1 to 2 teaspoons for 5 gallons.

Available in 1 oz, 8 oz & 1 lb sizes, packaged in a re-sealable zip bag.
